Inner Rage

I was sitting in the room thinking out loud
Life’s like a massive plenitude & a throng of crowd
Pictured across the globe is a tiny tinge of hope
With very little hands & a little tiny rope...

I felt like I was locked in the middle of a room
Terrified by the darkness & the extenuating gloom
My mind began to feel a little upset
By all the things that I mostly & deeply regret...

There was truly no hope beyond that feverish anger
There was really no path earlier for me to discover
Now that the rage & fury has seen its fate
Albeit now, it’s a tad too late...

Jealousy & hate have risen to shore
No pangs of enthusiasm could spark no more
We used to play strictly by the rules
But then we were treated like donkeys & mules...

People like to talk with no barricades
An ace is no longer an ace, a spade may not just be a spade
They kill your soul with words of debauchery
They leave you with a feeling of lost & treachery...

In the midst of it all is a thing called WOMEN
A creature from a different planet, the opposite of MEN
In the wake of it all men seem to falter
It took us so damn long to just finally discover...

We need them in our lives & so be it
Without them our gardens & homes won’t be so well lit
We treasure their love, their sensitivity, their passion
They have the knack to shower us all with so much compassion...

But they swoop us all with a strong gutsy blow
Leaving us all with a tight nose & lungs so narrow
They took us all with a stride full of surprise
They’re the reason for our untimely death & unfortunate demise...

My hat goes off to those men who were strong
Who fought for their lives & corrected all the wrongs
But history has taught us well & so many things
That even the strongest of men could fall for such little flings...

Here & now, time has taken its toll
We’re up & about, & ready to roll
Time & again, we should have recaptured our glory
Not to bow to the Jessicas, the Debras & the Lauries...

Melayu Suka Rendah Diri

MELAYU bangsa rendah diri
Toleransinya teramat nan tinggi
Hidup MELAYU berpaksikan ISLAM
Bertuankan Raja siang dan malam...

Bila dimarah, kita tunduk
Bila diherdik, kita hangguk
Bila disuruh, kita ikut
Tapi bila dicabar, kita sahut...

Bangsa lain tunjuk taring
Kita ajak duduk berunding
Bangsa lain naik tocang
Kita ajak duduk berbincang…

Tapi ini semua zaman dahulu
Zaman hidup berbilang kaum bagai isi dan kuku
Kini zaman sudah berubah
Tatahidup yang lama sudah mampu disanggah…

Ini zaman tekno, zaman Facebook, zaman twitter
Semua benda menjerumus ke alam siber
Bukan berhasrat untuk memisahkan sejarah
Kalau dulu negara kita dikepung, kini minda kita dijajah...

Orang MELAYU tidak lupa sejarah
Orang lain yang selalu berpaling tadah
Orang MELAYU memendam marah di dalam hati
Orang lain yang selalu tak kenang budi...

Kalau berkawan, ada caranya
Kalau berlawan, ada gayanya
Jangan sampai terkurang ajar
Orang MELAYU memang pantang dicabar…

Wahai insan yang menumpang seketika
Calitkan di dahi dan tusukkan di dada
Bertapak di negeri orang, buat cara di negeri orang
Kalau nak ikut kepala sendiri, pergi balik negeri sendiri...

Thank You...

Thank you for being with me and teaching me how to live well,
Thank you for the guiding hand, on rough roads and every swell,
Thank you for your support when decisions I made proved wrong,
Thanks for the pat on my back when I sang a meaningful song.

Thank you for being the light in alleys too dark for me,
Sometimes when in the dark, I need others to see,
Thank you, for repaying me in kind for hurtful deed,
That in remembrance I may be sensitive to another person's need.

I don’t think I have thanked you well enough,
For all the things you did, “blah, blah, blah” and all that stuff,
Sometimes a ride is taken for granted,
Without much sensitivity to the needs of those wanted.

But I really want you to know,
That in the midst of the sunshine and the afterglow,
You are the greatest gift from God to me, a reflection of his love,
You are my prayer for renewal and the answer from above.

Thank God I Found You

Love is uncertain in so many ways,
Like a string of rainbows during clouded and darken days,
Love is a feeling no one could muster,
Like a sentence full of structures no one could utter...

Thank God you came along,
In the midst of a gloomy ride and melancholic song,
When I needed somebody to brighten up the sky,
God must have listened with a preying eye...

Your presence helped me to revive my emotions,
That was once dampened by heaps of frustrations,
You are a gift from god, a reflection of his love,
You are my prayer for renewal and the answer from above...

Thank God I found you,
A creature so gentle, so arresting, so true,
Thank God I’ve been granted a chance,
To savour this journey with you, and to enjoy this wonderful dance...

Something About You...

Your eyes captivated me...
Your beauty defeated me...
Your smile embraced me...
Your personality is indeed your quality

I love everything about you and more...
And your eyes shine brightly as soon as you hit the door...
Your warmth and kindness took me to a whole different state...
Such a cacophony of beautiful melody that no one could berate

You are gentle yet feisty...
You are wholesome yet sexy...
You are soft yet sprightly...
I could not help myself but to love you daily and nightly

I love to hear the sound of your voice...
I’m glad to know that I am your choice...
The tingle of romance is beginning to quiver...
The sight of you could easily make me shiver

With all my heart I worship you...
Deep within my soul I adore you...
Here’s to more days for us to linger...
The more I see you, the more I love you, remember?

Have A Little Faith

It is not easy to live life sometimes
And face the world with a wry, sardonic smile
When you're crying inside
It takes a lot of courage
To reach down deep inside yourself.

Hold on to that strength that is still there...
Just believe that every day
Is a new day
With endless possibilities.

If you can just hold on
Long enough to see this through
You'll come out a stronger person
With a greater understanding
And a new pride in yourself
From knowing you’ve made it.

Just give things a little more time…
But for now
Keep believing in yourself
Take the best of care
Try to put things in perspective
Remember what's most important.

Don't forget that someone cares
Search for the positive side
Learn the lessons to be learned
And find your way through to
The inner qualities which are within you
The strengths, the smiles
The wisdom, and the beauty
That are such special parts of you.

Life is going to be fine for you…
I know it will be…
Because I know you.

I Am A King (When I'm With You)

I: The thought of you
Falling for me
Is like the angels have come down to set me free
How I realized that you belong to me
Every time I see ...

II: Shadows of love
Echoes and sounds
Make the beautiful blue skies and stars abound
I am all above the clouds when you’re around
And I now have found ...

Chorus: I am a king when I’m with you
Just as long as you’re my queen
I won’t know what love would mean without your love
I am a king when I’m with you
For as long as we both live
Now I feel ...
That the world belongs to me

Bridge: Though we are young and free
We always knew what to do
When I was down and hurt
You’d come and get me through
Oohh ... you always do ...
